Pre-Kindergarten

Welcome!

My name is Amanda Imbrogno, and I will be your child’s teacher along with my assistant, Ashley Wickenheiser. Your child will be learning so many things this year both academically and socially. Please encourage your child to be independent by letting them find their own name if they can, hang up their book bag, put their lunch box on the shelf and their daily folder in the basket. Don’t worry, we will be going over all of this with the children until they are familiar with the routine. Parents are allowed to walk their child in the first week and then Mrs. Wickenheiser and I will be by the back door the second week. After that I encourage you to empower your child and support them walking in all by themselves. Folders will be sent home every day. The folder will contain their work and any important information. Half day children will need a healthy snack, Full day children will need a morning and afternoon snack, a lunch, a water bottle, and a small blanket for rest time. Please let me know if your child has food allergies. Everyone will need extra clothes. We always have accidents! Please read the handbook. Pre-K does not have to wear a uniform, but we do have a small dress code. I encourage tennis shoes. We go outside and to the gym as much as we can. We will eat lunch in our classroom and hot lunch is offered. We will have lots of fun this year and look forward to getting to know each child and see the gifts that each one of them have to offer.

God Bless, Mrs. Imbrogno
